Messed Up Little Brains

Everyone is completely different.  You will hear this all of your life, talking about the good and the bad differences between you and anybody in this Earth.  Now if you take into consideration the difference between an extreme criminal and an everyday person you first seem to find no difference at all.
Sure, petty theft criminals or one time civilians’ committing a small crime might not fit into the category of extreme criminals.  But when you dive deeper into the minds of murderers, extreme hijackers, or even rapists you will find a world surrounded by mystery, needs, broken lives or even childhoods ruined by the burdens of everyday life.  Yet, these twisted people with twisted minds come from all walks of life.  Some may be from a life of prosperity and opportunity, while others may come from a life of poverty and destroyed lives and even morals.
Many studies have been done about the inner workings of a mind of a criminal.  A study was done differing between being born evil or if it is a part of growing up and that's what makes you that way.  The research reflected that everyone is different, but the natural instinct to do wrong can be in a human, whether it is buried or not.  I say that every situation is unique to the person committing the actual act.

Between men and women criminals, women are much more likely to have a trigger in their brain that when set off by an incident of traumatic event can lead to many bad decisions being made.  Men, often don't really need a trigger or event to start a murderous rage or even a long string of sexual assaults.  Their brains work in different ways, completely different chemistry,
But what separates a "normal" person’s brain from the brain of a criminal?
That’s the real question.

A “normal” human being can become a criminal just as easily as a criminal can ultimately be a “normal” person.  Everyone has another side and a different story to tell.  Everyone has secrets.

If you want to check out the Into The Wormhole: Can We Eliminate Evil? to see more about the brain and how being evil is different then being 'normal', click on the link.

  1. It is interesting to think about normality. What we think is normal can be different and strange to other people.

  2. It is defiantly weird to think that anyone of us could turn into a criminal or that some of us are!
